  ________________________________________________________________________________

1) What does a tee time cost on your website?

Nothing more than the advertised tee time price.  You pay the same if you walked in the clubhouse or called on the phone and got the tee time yourself.

2) Do tee time prices include cart?

All courses include cart with their online fees.  However, if you would like to walk rather than ride, you can simply schedule a tee time online and then inform the course that you wish to walk rather than ride. You pay at the counter, so each course has the flexibility to provide either a walking or riding greens fee depending on your preference.  If you choose to walk, the course may deduct the cart fee from the price reserved online.  Please check with each each course individually for walking policies and cart pricing.

3) How are Tee Times booked on your website?

Since our system integrates with each course’s tee sheet, there is really not much to it.  The tee time is booked for you just like if you had called and the guy on the phone was putting your info into the tee sheet for you (only YOU know how to spell your name correctly and don’t have to wait on hold).  You get an on-screen and an email confirmation.

4) Do I have to pay anything up front?

Yes.  To guarantee the tee time, a 10% fully refundable deposit is held on your credit card to guarantee the tee time and validate an authentic tee time.  Some courses may require more.  If you cancel within the course’s posted cancellation timeframe (usually up to 24 hrs prior to the tee time), the deposit will be completely refunded.

5) When do I pay the rest?

You pay the remainder on the day you play golf during check-in.  Don’t worry about a thing, the course will already know what you have paid and what you owe.

6) What kind of confirmation will I receive?

During the booking process, you will see an on-screen confirmation AND receive an email confirmation.

7) How do I cancel and what happens if I do?

From our main Tee Times page, at the center top of the page is “If you need to cancel a tee time, click here.” Follow that link to provide information on the tee time you are canceling and that’s it. As long as you cancel within the course’s posted cancellation timeframe (usually 24hrs prior to the tee time), you will owe nothing and any deposit amounts will be refunded.

8) Where do I find a particular course’s cancellation policy?

From the list of courses, to find cancellation policy information, click on the “i” in the small blue dot to the right of the course’s name. This takes you to a special online tee time info page. On the right hand side are links, including a “pricing and policies” link. Click on this link to see various policies including the cancellation policy. It is important to note that this information page is different from our information page because it is maintained for tee time purposes only by GolfSwitch, a tee time booking engine clearing house, while we maintain the content of our course listings..

9) What happens if I don’t show up (no-show)?

We would strongly encourage you not to no-show. If you no-show, the course has the right to charge you for the full tee time charge on the credit card you provided.

10) Why can I only book a tee time at some of the courses on your site?

We are always adding more golf courses, and because we integrate with the course’s tee sheet software, it can take some time. Also, Online Tee Times are only one thing we do. As a service to the Kansas City golf community we list ALL public golf courses and provide as much information as we can about all of them.

If you would like to see us add a course in the future, please have them give us a call at 877-309-0370 or email us at webmaster@kcmetrogolf.com and we’ll be glad to get them set up right away.

11) Where is all the information I can find on your site about golf courses?

Wow – if you are looking for information on golf courses, you came to the right place. We list every public golf course in Kansas City and the surrounding area. For each course we have a description, all the stats like slope ratings and lengths, as well as information on tee times, rental clubs, restaurants, and a lot more.

You can also read other golfer’s feedback on each course based on our 5-star rating system with user comments and ratings based on Service, Conditions, Layout, and an Overall Rating.

Finally, in our Discussion Forums section, we have a particular forum dedicated to Golf Course News. It’s the second one listed – titled “Course News” – and you can read posts by the golf courses themselves as they tell you all about any news, information, or specials at their course.
